Acorn
Chemical Services Ltd. commenced operations in the Summer of 2002.
It was set up by Mr. Anthony Buchanan, Sales Director and
Ms. Anthea Morgan, Technical Director. ACORN operates from
a specifically designed facility located in Lonlas Business Park,
Skewen, Neath only 2 minutes from the M4 motorway.
The Company operates primarily in three areas: -
1. The development
of, manufacture of, blending of, storage of and distribution of
industrial janitorial and maintenance chemicals as aerosols, pre
packed in 5Ltr,
25Ltr and 205Ltr, bulk supplies in 1000Ltr IBCs. All provided with
full H&S information as well as training for optimum usage.
2. Water treatment including risk assessments and recommendations
for treatment based on the findings, chlorination of systems for
legion Ella control, scale and corrosion monitoring and treatment,
boiler water treatment, analysis, testing, system efficiency evaluation
and provision of water treatment chemicals including polymers,
flocculants, dispersing agents, inhibitors. Specific treatments for Air
Conditioning and Dehumidifier Systems.
3. Training and consultancy support services with regard to use
of chemicals, H&S, Environmental Concerns, Quality Issues, Energy
Management, Waste treatment, Packaging Regulations, Supplier Evaluation,
Auditing Training, Statistical Technique Development, Provision of
qualified instructors for in house training as required by clients.
